Based in Kent, WWM Civils is a Civil Engineering and Groundworks contractor, working throughout Kent and the South East of England
Offering a team of highly experienced, skilled and committed staff, we provide a professional level of technical and managerial expertise to deliver a high-quality service, that safely meets the demands of today’s construction marketplace.
Delivering a turnover of £5.5million in 2016, our business undertakes a mix of Groundworks, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Highways (Section 278 approved), Drainage, and Landscaping work.
With projects ranging in value from £10k to £2million, we successfully work across a mix of construction sectors including Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Health, Education, Infrastructure, and Utilities.
We offer significant experience and expertise in groundworks and civil engineering and deliver a multitude of different projects.
We directly employ our own workforce who have a wide range of knowledge with significant experience. Our site teams are all CSCS/CPCS trained in plant and streetworks and all undertake regular Health & Safety training.
Our professional approach, along with our reliable and conscientious manner allow us to approach each job methodically. With repeat business from our clients this is testament to our high standard of workmanship and the commitment by all of our workforce from operatives up to the Board of Directors.
Utilities
Whether it is foul or surface water, gas, electric, water mains data or telecoms, we are able to supply teams that have a sound knowledge of this sector.
Working with Local Authorities we are able to liaise with the service provider in order to co-ordinate all services works.
We offer:
- 278 Highways works including road closures/crossings,
- Service connection excavations,
- Sewer connections for adoption in line with the latest edition of sewers for adoption,
- Trenching works for new, existing or old service supplies are also undertaken,
- Hand-digging teams to carry out excavation works where mechanical excavation is not considered to be safe.
Highways
We are an approved Section 278 Highways contractor and work closely with many Local Authority Highways departments.
We offer expertise in undertaking works on existing and new adoptable highways, footways services and drains and are a Kent County Council Section 278 Highways Approved Contractor.
All of our operatives are NRSWA trained and fully understand the requirements of working in a live traffic environment and are experienced in delivering successful projects.
Landscaping
We offer significant experience in delivering landscape projects, with every project being different. Our work ranges from soft landscaping, soil schemes, planting, hard landscaping and water features.
Working closely with the design team on a project, we help develop solutions for each project, providing advice on different materials and their applications.
Through quality workmanship, we can help transform areas or simply provide the finishing touches to a project to help exceed our clients’ expectations.
Drainage
The drainage works package for any building project is hugely important and requires careful planning in order to deliver effective solutions to manage both the building and the wider site requirements. Delivering the most effective solution is also key to reducing any potential risks of flooding and pollution.
At WWM Civils, we offer significant experience in all aspects of drainage works and work closely with design teams and drainage engineers to develop and install the most economical and environmentally friendly solutions possible.
